Engine conversion

Bula from New Zealand. I have owned a XG Ford Falcon panelvan 1994 for the last 4 years. I have just recently had it painted, windows tinted, interior carpeted, with sounds and DVD drop down screen installed. A bit of money spent on the red paintwork, except the engine bay. I have recently purchased a complete ED Falcon XR8 Tickford 1993, which I plan to install the 5 Litre into the panelvan. Currently I am having problems with different opinions from different mechanics some saying it can, and some saying it cannot be done due to engine mounts.
I am really wanting to get this done but I am feeling confused. Is there anyone out there who has some ideas and/or suggestions? Your help is much appreciated, thanks.
