2018 Ford F-150 Denied Top Safety Rating Because of Bad Headlights

Quote:
The 2018 Ford F-150 isn’t eligible for the highest IIHS Top Safety Pick+ award because all the available headlights are rated poor.

The popular pickup truck instead receives an IIHS Top Safety Pick thanks to an optional superior-rated front crash prevention system. Both the crew cab and the extended cab models of the F-150 receive good ratings in all five IIHS crashworthiness tests and the optional front crash prevention system avoided collisions in IIHS track tests at 12 mph and 25 mph. The system also has a forward collision warning component that meets National Highway Traffic Safety Administration criteria.

As I get older , I appreciate good headlights all the more . No excuse nowadays for poor lights .
