New 2018 Mustang Options Emerge Through Order Guide
We’re still begging for more details regarding the reworked 2018 Ford Mustang, but photos of an order guide that surfaced online this week have filled in a few of the gaps.
The official Ford document still leaves us wanting power figures for both the 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder and the 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine, but it does detail the Mustang’s factory installed packages and stand-alone options.
Ford will offer shoppers five packages spread across the powertrain pairings: EcoBoost Premium Pony Package, EcoBoost Wheel and Stripe, EcoBoost Performance Package, the GT Performance Package, and a Black Accent Package.
The Premium Pony Package brings a brightwork grille that harks back to the underpowered V6 Mustangs of yore, which is paired with side stripes available in either White or Ebony depending on paint selection. The Premium package also adds a Tri-bar pony logo, chrome accents, and 19-inch polished aluminum wheels.
The Wheel and Stripe Package brings another new set of wheels and pairs them with fender stripes available in either Ebony or Silver, once again depending on color choice.
