australian assembled RHD LTD, apparently used as a funeral car in Victoria hence the white colour. was originally a nice metallic green. i know this because some of the white has flaked off and i can see it. would've looked pretty good in the day.
2010 Ford 1972 galaxie (white)
rebuilt 400 with TMI 9:5 to 1 pistons (+40), holley 780cfm vac sec on a holley street dominator single plane. 302 closed chamber heads match ported to gaskets with 4v valve (i know, i know they're now ruined!! blame the guy who did them. sounded alright at the time, but i think he was more used to chevs?) boss valve springs with a comp cams 265 DEH cam. new timing gear, and water pump. needs new/upgraded dizzy and roller rockers/pushrods. goes all right once she clears her throat a bit but a bit boggy down low, better ignition and carb tweaks wouldn't hurt either, just happy its going!! had a lot of pain with this one.
interior is in really good nick for age but still standard except for aftermarket steering wheel. couldnt get horn to work properly and the other wheel was too big and stuck too far out for the missus to drive properly. thin outside rim felt like crap too. nearly five turns lock to lock so smaller fatter wheels feels heaps better
none but needs a new paint job
Wheel and Tire
12 slots (15"?) on rear, standard rims with hub caps on front. will save up for a set of mags when i can but will be a while the way i'm going
