AC Cobra
Black with gray strip
I bought the body in 1989. Built the chassis in 1991. Completed the car in 1992. Did the complete build myself short of the interior.
Chassis is a double 1 7/8" chrome Molly space frame.
Car weighs in at 2450# 1095 in the front 1355 at the rear. 0-60 in 2.8 seconds. Best 1/4 mile time is a 10:33 et 128 mph on slicks. It's my Z06 killer
1965 Ford AC Cobra (Black with gray strip)


351c bored and stroked to 426 c.i. 580 rear wheel horse power. JE pistons, H beam billet rods, all roller motor.
Transmission 4 speed auto built by Chucks Transmissions in Dublin,Ca. good for 900 H.P. 3200 stall.
9" ford rear ( Big bearing) locker carrier with Richmond gears 3.55's
All leather, Auto Meter Ultra Lite carbon fiber gages. Original AC bucket seats. IDIDIT steering column, Painless 16 circuit wiring kit.
orginial bullet tail lights and turn signal lights replace with custom billet peaces. I also cut out the orginial molded license plate light. And re-glassed the trunk. I also removed the front hood locking turn handles re-glassed those area and put a in cockpit hood release latch. I then spent 80-90 hours of prep and blocking. Then sparyed the car with PPG Ultra Black with a GMC grey strip
JVC 200 watts
4 link, coil overs all four corners. Wilwood disc's all four corners,4 piston rear,6 piston front. All on 14" rotors
All front & rear suspension components are from Chris Alston Chassis Works, Sacamento, Ca.
Wheel and Tire
Goodyear Eagle F1 245 on 17's x 9" in front,305 on 17"s x 10.5" in the rear. Rims are 2 piece American Racing billet. Also run a 10" Goodyear slick for the drags
