Hello. I have an '01 GT Premium 5-speed that I bought new and just recently paid off. Now that I have some spare cash, I'd like to add a cold air intake and install an exhaust system that sounds a little more aggressive than the stock system that is on there now. Can this be done without confusing the onboard computer into thinking there's a problem?

Yes. Get a good cold air intake that'll actually take air from the fender wells or in front of the radiator. Otherwise, it's taking in warm engine bay air.

Get a set of shorty headers and a X-pipe with catalytic converters, then a Magnaflow cat-back system. Typically, the cats will keep the computer in order. You can bolt up all these things using hand tools in a single day.
