I have no am reception. If I touch the outside antenna with a wrench to take off the mast, I get reception. Otherwise it is static. I have replaced the base that supports the antenna mast, but same results. I have not changed the antenna cable. I even tried grounding the radio case to frame ground, and the results are the same. Any ideas?
