I recently bought an '03 Grand Marquis that the head unit has been stolen out of (along with the mount and faceplate) and there are three factory connectors there, what do these all go to? I assume the largest one is for the stereo. I don't believe the steering wheel has any controls aside from cruise control. As far as I can tell no one has upgraded the audio in any way.

Anyway I'm looking to get the stereo functional again, almost looks like a double din would even fit in there?

Depending on the model it could have originally had a factory amp and CD player. So you may or may not use all the connectors if installing a factory head unit. This article describes radio installation and those connectors in depth.
