My issue is that the ALT light on the dash stays ON even though it’s charging? I checked all connections at the Alternator and the V.R. Connector looks ok. There is a short Yellow lead coming out of the V.R. Connector with some type of end on it but does not appear to connect to anything? Does anyone have any ideas? I have the wiring diagram and it shows the Yellow wire as “152” but no idea what it is??

Hi, Thanks for your idea (I need all that I can get!). I did check the wiring. I put a large mirror on the front seat so I could see the dash lights while I was checking the wiring harness. Nothing seemed to affect the ALT light. I then decided to let it run for a while and all of a sudden the ALT went out??? All the time my guage has been rock steady at close to 14V. Now when I first turn turn the ignition ON (without starting) the ALT light stays OFF. As a matter of fact, it never comes on. I checked the bulb and it’s ok. I think that the ALT is supposed to be on until the engine starts. I may remove the belt and start it up to see what’s happens.
