That would be a good car to get at the right price if it's a genuine GT. Parts are always going to take a bit of detective to find for a 67 model car but Cortinas were so popular that many aftermarket places can cover alot of stuff now. Alot of the stuff is generic across all the Mk2s but there will be some parts specific to the GT. Mostly some engine bolt ons and a bit of badging.

Go for it. I think it will be a great project.

you Can obtain parts in England still. There are quite a few Cortina enthusiasts here in the US also.

Well, still looking at the same car; shipping has doubled in the last few months; wonder why:), He is letting it go for 600, and it includes lots of parts and the shop books. Seems like a good deal. Are there places I can get shocks and engine tuner parts, like headers, intake manifolds, etc. Do most people just put in a bigger engine?
