1970 T-bird Value and ?'s

My boss recently came across a (alleged) 1970 T-bird Conv. with a 429ci and C-6 tranny. Over on Stangnet, I was informed that there is no such animal, as Ford did not have a Convertable model in 1970. The car reportedly is in excellent condition, yellow w/ white leather int. and white drop-top. Can anyone verify these claims or offer any more info on this model vehicle? Thanks, Matt

CORRECTION

It is NOT a drop-top, just a white vinyl top. I have heard that its worth btwn $2800-$8200. Does this sound about right with 70,xxx mi on it? Thanks, Matt
