My son and I had a bet Christmas of 2019. “Dad, if I could run 2.5km everyday for a year, would you give me $500?”
“Son, if you could run every day, I’d give you $2500 for 2.5km every day.”
He’ll never do it, I thought. Nearly 500 days down and he still hasn’t missed a day. I’m $2500 down and he’s bought himself a Cortina for his first car. He’s 15 now. So together we are rebuilding his cortina. I’m posting this story to ask for advice along the way, so as to ensure we keep it safe and don’t devalue it in any way. So far I have starting patching the floor pans and removing rust from just about everywhere.
