I have had my 1986 Bronco 5.0L EFI 4X4 for about a year now. The problem is that it's a dog! Going up any grade on the freeway, nearly requires me to floor the accelerator just to stay at the speed limit. I have changed the fuel filter recently, but that didn't seem to make a difference. IS THIS JUST THE NATURE OF THE BEAST??? I am looking for other owners to share their experiences. Thanks.

I have had one. And I never had that issue. Have you had any other issues recently? Look at the injectors or even the fuel pump.

I have a 91, 302, auto, 3:55 tl axles, with 11.50x31 LTX tires. It is pretty much a dog. If you have the big tires and no gears to pull 'em- it's gonna be a dog.

Check to see if your catalytic converter or muffler is stopped up. Most of your local muffler shops will do this for you. If that is not the problem check your fuel pressure also check the throttle position sensor.
