Most of the SE Probes out there are 94-96

1993 SE Probes are hard to find...
1997 SE Probes don't exist...

I agree that in 1997, there was no "factory" ford probe SE, but after you have put mods on it, and even did work on the engine, transmission, and exhaust, do you still believe that it deserves and upgrade from the simple name "base".

I guess it all just depends on how you look at it!

I dont know if the dealership where I got my 97 was stupid or what, but they did title my 1997 Probe an SE, even though you are correct that they did not make a 1997 Probe SE....

Indiglo Gauges

Hey, I have seen those gauges on Ebay before, and I was wondering if they are really worth the money. Are they pretty nice, or are they a little low on quality?

Second, were they tough to install? How about the wiring?

Any reply would be useful from anyone who has installed these!

I like my gauges so far.... They seem to be good quality so far and look pretty nice
I posted instructions here for the install http://64.60.145.228/forums/viewtopic.php?topic=40926&forum=4 ... it took a while because it got dark outside and I didnt have detailed instructions (the previous owner I got them from off ebay did send me decent instructions which helped a bit, but these are more involved instructions) Id say that they would take 1/2- 1 hour to install. Be very careful and dont install in the dark because I broke off a needle because I couldnt see too well. These instructions are for the Initial K concepts 2nd gen Probe gauges....
