When looking to replace the 2.0 in my Ranger, I opted for a 2.8. The 2.8 I have installed came from a '74 Capri (or so I've been told). There are a number of differences between the 2.8 used in '74 and the 2.8 used in the 80's. My questions are in regards to these differences. I understand that the bottom end of the later 2.8 is stronger, but would like to understand the difference (if there is one) between the heads, intake, & exhaust. Thanks in advance.
