I had it running 2 days ago, but it was running bad. I could not get it to stay on after I let of the gas, so I replaced the idle air control valve and the ignition coil b (because there was an code saying coil b problem). Now the truck just cranks, and maybe fires every once in awhile. I also smell unburnt fuel out the exhaust.

Do you have a multi-meter and/or some sort of tester for spark?

I wasnt looking for amp draw at the coil, there are too many things that can throw off an induction amp meter and they generally don't respond fast enough. I was looking for coil continuity and verify you're not shorting and your coils are getting voltage. You should have the same resistance across all the coils.

Whats the exact code its throwing? Could be bad coil drivers in the ecu depending on the code.
