Hi, Had a bad resistor and bought a new one and had to take it out just to remove the plug. When I removed the plug it was very damaged and had to buy a replacement plug pigtail and noticed the wiring colors are in a different position. In my mind I feel I should just connect the wiring so the position of the wire no matter what the color is goes to the same connector. The orange and black wires are switched so I figured just to connect as the use to be on the old plug. Just looking for conformation or suggestions on the correct method.

Match the pin placement and disregard color.

Thank you so much. Worked fine. My only concern is that the Older plugs Orange wire is much heavier then the new wire I had to connect to so guessing it was the Power wire and hoping the smaller gauge wire can handle the power received. Anyway thanks for your advise.(y)
