2005 F-150: After about 8 miles of driving, with the light switch set to Auto, all the lights start flickering. Headlights, interior dash, radio, everything. Turn the switch to "manual" on and instantly no problem. This only occurs if I am in Auto lights mode. It also occurs whether it is dark, dusk, dawn, or anything between. It will not happen every single day, but easily 4 out of 7 days of commute. Haven't had time to take it to the dealer, but was wondering if anyone else experienced the same issue. I did check the wiring as best as I could for loose or chafed wires and found nothing.

Appreciate any feedback.

There is a sensor on the dash that detects light that could be screwing up on you.
I'll check it out. Actually forgot about the dash sensor. Thanks for the quick reply!
