Yeah, I was just confirming my thinking that the car ran worse as it warmed up. The gauge dropped to 12 PSI after about 10 minutes, and car really started to miss while just idling.

Well, the work is done, but it turned out to be the PCM that was the real issue. Pulled one from a low mileage car, had it reprogrammed, and aside from a brief period of the transmission not wanting to lock up the torque converter during the first drive on the highway, it runs better than it did when I first got it. I get the impression the PCM most likely had been wet, and wasn’t really working properly all that time. It is getting very good highway mileage, but my next goal is to do a little body work.
It has been almost 30 years since I last repaired body panels, but the work I did then lasted 15 years and through temps as low as -40 F, so I’m pretty confident that I’ll do okay this time around.
