Hi i have a question maybe someone can point me in the correct direction please i had my valve cover gasket replaced and the vacuum hose it's loose and I have no idea where it goes and my a/c is stuck on hot and defroster mode?

the red hose goes to the vacuum solenoid that closes off the flow of coolant to the heater core. It looks from the pictures that the other end is disconnected. That is why your heater blend door is stuck in defrost, you have an open vacuum line. I think that end goes into the firewall, so the open connector may be behind the dash. Trace all those vacuum lines in the rear passenger side of the engine compartment and look for an open line. With the engine running you may hear it. Hopefully someone here can give you a diagram of the hoses to narrow down where it is
