I am one of the lucky ones who must have a rebuilt transmission. It has 135,000 miles on it and still has the original water pump, fuel pump, alternator and starter. Recently had a tuneup, struts and shocks with alignment and driver side cv axle replacement. Can anyone tell me the life of the water pump etc. on this car?

What length is a piece of string ? impossible to say .One of those items and others that at that mileage / year might be worth replacing as a preventive action , especially if intending to hold on to vehicle for a while . Others prefer take the " if it ain't broke , leave as is " attitude and can rack up big mileages until needing replaced . I prefer the earlier option .
