You did check the obvious , brake reservoir fluid level ?
2012 ford escape lt "Check brake system" warning came on on dash
Last night leaving work my "Check brake system" lights came on my dash. I hooked up a scanner to check for codes and it gives nothing. Took it to autoparts store and they checked as well and no codes thrown. Brakes feel no different and not finding any leaks. Anyone have any ideas before I have to take it to a shop and have them look as well?

You are better not starting 2 posts on same matter , doesn't help in getting replies or answering
Just a thought , on some makes when that warning is triggered , a fault with the brake lights can be the cause especially when sidelights are on also . May not apply to your vehicle but 2 mins to check out .
