Hey all, I have a 2013 F-150 5.0L with 135,000 miles. It will randomly shut down while accelerating. A wrench will come up on the dash and it will say low oil pressure. It won't restart right away, but if I wait a minute or two it will start back up and be fine. It's not an oil issue. I've seen others with this problem but have seen a wide range of possible fixes. Anyone else have this problem or know what this issue might be? It's pretty dangerous when it happens at highway speeds.

Do you have a mechanical pressure gage to confirm it's maintaining pressure?

Considering the price of a new engine, I'd consider adding that mod, at least temporarily.
