Just a couple of weeks ago, we saw a 2018 Ford GT ’67 Heritage Edition cross the block at Mecum’s Las Vegas auction. Now, those who missed out on that one have yet another chance to bring home one of these very special, special editions, because another example is going up for grabs at Barrett-Jackson’s 2021 Scottsdale auction.

This 2018 Ford GT ’67 Heritage Edition is essentially brand new, with just 15 miles showing on the odometer. It comes complete with a host of goodies as well, including the window sticker, welcome book, ordering kit with interior and exterior color and material options, photographs of the car in various production stages, a car cover, and a steering wheel cover.

Also included with the sale is an aluminum print commemorating this exact GT in its final stage at the Multimatic Niche Vehicle manufacturing facility in Markham, Ontario, prior to its delivery, which is accompanied by a letter signed by Henry Ford III and Ford Performance Global Director Dave Pericak.

The Ford GT ’67 Heritage Edition was created specifically to pay homage to one historic event in GT history – the first and only all-American team to win Le Mans, consisting of Dan Gurney and A.J. Foyt.

The ’67 Heritage Edition is finished in Race Red with Frozen White accents, plus an exposed gloss carbon fiber trim option. The wheels are silver satin clearcoat 20-inch one-piece forged aluminum pieces, which cover Brembo carbon-ceramic disc brakes with red calipers.

The interior features new leather trim for the carbon-fiber seats with red accent stitching, which also adorns the steering wheel. Additional features inside include red seat belt webbing, anodized gray paddle shifters, and satin dark stainless appliqués on the instrument panel, door register bezels, and x-brace.

Rounding out modifications to the ’67 Heritage Edition is a unique serialized identification plate and exposed matte carbon fiber door sills, air register pods, and center console. This particular example also features a titanium exhaust and lug nuts.
This special Ford GT is selling with no reserve, but given how high these things are selling for these days, we doubt it’ll have a problem providing the seller with a massive profit.
