I've been waiting on AFD or CHI to finish the manifold to fit strock 2V iron onto a 9.5" widsor block but they are at least 2 months away and have been saying that for at least 8 months already, sick of waiting now, I've got the money so I'm going to get either AFD or CHI 2V's, and transfer the gear from my iron 2V's onto them, at least then I'll have less comp with the alloys 70cc chamber and at least 290cfm of flow. So about 8.2-8.3 to 1 comp and at least 60cfm more flow than my iron 2V's.

Might not be the best but at least I can build it now, I ve been waiting over 8 months for these manifolds, too bloody long.

My thoughts are that if a 302 with ported iron 2V's -can make 600fwhp on 12psi(a ocal canberra car), thena 351 with alloy 2V's can make well above my target of 600RWHP.

I would like to run about 18psi to get 600rwhp thru a glide with a 3500 stall and 3.5 rear end.

The CHI's are 300cfm of flow, with 190cc of port volume. They should work OK I think and have very good TQ figures.

AFD's website is down so no specs now but from memory they flow more on the exhaust at lower lift.

SO what d ya think? Sound reasonable or ? Any opinions please?

There has been way more 2V AFDs sold than the CHI, so it would be hard to compare with the CHI at this stage. Flip of a coin really.

Yeah, thats right. A milder version that hasn't got many runs on the board yet. Still, i bet it is a top notch head no doubt, and works very good.
I like CHIs product just as much as AFD. I love them all, and am not severly one sided as others can be. Group hugs brenx.haha

Its very hard to pick between the two, the CHI seems to have a much better intake, and outperforms the AFD even with a smaller port and valve, its flow also starts much earlier, and rips the AFD from the .100 thru to .550, the AFD is a bit better on the exhaust side, but only at .400 thru .600.
