Hey Steve? Do you really have a cold air setup in your Probe? Or do you just mean the cone with the heat shield? I have always looked for a good cold air setup for the 3.0.

It is the filter with the heat shield but I put 3 inch dryer duct tubing around the end and ran it to the front of the car its almost the same setup as everyone does with the K&N drop in. I wish they made an aftermarket CAI.

I would get a cold air intake before I bought a k&k drop in. eliminate your entire airbox. I enjoy the sounds and think i got some hp out of it.

While you're shopping for a conical air filter you may as well get a cheap one. The "velocity stack" dual cone filters are basically all the same. I bought a Hiper 6" filter off E-bay for $20. Even a heat shielded Ractive filter can be found for $30.

Yeah cone filters can be had for pretty cheap these days! I would suggest checking out Caliguys new find once he gets pics up. He installed a 94 Integra CAI into his 3.0 and it didnt take any modifications to fit. Also, a CAI would yield more power than a standard cone filter in the engine bay. Whenever Caliguy gets his pics posted I will probably go this route......
