Why isnt Ford using this motor in something?? Seems like a waste to me. Just because the SHO died dosen't mean this motor should die with it. Anyone agree?

i agree

I wonder how much it cost them to develop it. It should be offered in something. Think of all the vehicles it could be adapted to fit into!

They only made 20,000 engines total for the all of the '96 to '99 SHO's. The engine alone was about $10,000 to produce...and thats EACH.

It was a specific engine for a specific car.

I don't believe you can even get a new one anymore. Most of the manufacturing of the parts was done by Yamaha in Japan.

As much as I love my SHO....I'll have something else within about 3 years. This engines not going to last forever....
