while driving at 60 kilometres then putting the gas on reaching 80 kilometres the engine started slowly shutting down until I let off the gas pedal down to 60 kilometres the engine kept running smooth then the next morning start up the Bronco there was some light tapping noise coming from the engine so I let the truck sit for 5 minutes then the tapping noise got a lot less noisy once I started driving to work 10 minutes up the road I put the gas on when I reached 80 kilometres the same thing started happening the motor began to shutdown until I let off on the gas back down to 60 kilometres I have been nursing the truck to work and back with this problem for one week Im looking at taking the rocker covers off checkout the tappets and push rods after work tomorrow but have no Idea what to look for other than the obvious a rattly tappet and or push rod but that dosnt tell me why the motor keeps wanting to shutdown every time I reach 80 kilometres can anybody help me please
