Does anyone here know the best way to remove a heater hose nipple from the block of a 351C? Also, what's the best way to install the new one?
Thanks

The heater tube is really just a piece of pipe pushed into the block. You will need a pair of vice grip pliers to pull the old one out.It can be tricky if the old one is really rusted. Just twist and wrench the old one out . Clean out the hole and then tap the new one in.You can put a little sealer on the new one but don't put on anything that will make it difficult to remove next time because you will regret it if you are the one to do it again. It is best to put something on the tube when installing to tap with the hammer so as not to damage the tube. You will have to be a little ruthless to get the old one out.Hope this helps.
