I recently bought a 92 F-150 with a 5.8 liter 351 Windsor. I love the truck but just driving from my house to the next town over(which is a 15 minute drive) and back is just over a quarter of the tank. I was wondering if there was any mods I can do to increase the mileage.
It is completely stock
Thanks.

Since you have recently got the truck and possibly not aware of what servicing records , you could start with basics like plugs and air / fuel filter checks , tyre pressures . Also dependant on mileage on vehicle which can have an effect on mpg .

Check the differential gear ratio. Is it a 4 wheel drive? If so, be sure the front hubs aren't locked in. New it rated 15 highway, 11 city.

Take out the air filter and hold it up toward the sun. If you can't see plenty of light through it at the pleats, replace it. Just went through the same issue and it helped some. I couldn't see anything and the filter looked clean.
