For those who haven't got Street machine this Fairlane has a 4.6 dohc from a '98 Lincoln MarkVIII as you can see it fits only just even in a big Yank Fairlane.
Only 225kw though and good to see there is a decent intake and chrome rocker covers for these engines. :D

Also in Street Machine there is a blown 270kw at the wheels XF.
a good one for DK :D

Ooops! forgot to mention the engine.
It's a blown 4.1 EFI six with manualised C4 auto and a stock 2.77 B/W diff. :D

Awsome! :D Looks good to me!

Would a manaul EFI XF beat a VL? VL's go ok for what they are, its just that i've never been in a decent XF before!:rolleyes:

Yea cheers gtho4!

The XF is a pretty big bastard! Unlike the VL's which i belive were lighter then the Skylines that had the same engine!

That rod sure is nice shame it won't fit in Falcon.The XF has trouble with traction ?

Sure is the Yanks know how to build them. :D
The use of OHC V8 is slowly finding it's way in older cars. :cool:
