I've owned a lot of cars over the years, but this is the first 4.6 so please forgive my ignorance of it. I need to know how the pcv valve comes out of the 02 crown vic. All others I have dealt with just pulled out of a grommet. This one is in there and I'm scared of breaking something. So please if there's a special way to get this out pipe up and school me on it.

Should just pull out, given the difficulty, you're probably going to want to changes the grommet as well.
