hey guys. i sell on e-bay for a living (i know some of you are my customers). i don't normally post stuff i have out there because i figure you'll find it if you need it. when i do list stuff i normally put it in the FS areas. since these parts got me so many responses on another forum i guess there are more people who need them than i would have ever guessed so i figure i should give everyone a shot in case they really need them. these trans cases are for a 70 boss 429 or 428cj mustang and if you have one of the earlier and more common big in big out tranny's you could swap the guts into this. or if you have a long trans you can buy a new mainshaft and make it into a short trans. sorry if i offend anyone, hawkrod

i appreciate the comment. i try to keep e-bay seperate from my hobby but i sell a lot of ford stuff as i know it well. the problem is that some people will be offended. normally i wouldn't have even bothered posting it but i got so many e-mails from another board when i commented that i had a spare (this thing has been in my lawn building for 15 years!) so i figured it might just be something somebody really needed. i always have 20 or 30 ford items on e-bay but most people would see them during searches so i try not to spam it. when i do get something special or a lot of requests for something i try and let everyone know. there will not be a lot of these cases ever available and if a guy was restoring a 70 cj he could buy a more common trans and gut it for the parts and make a correct trans (the opposite of what i did). later hawkrod

I also appreciate the fact you are giving other Ford Forums members the opportunity to purchase these parts as well. I agree, that as long as it is related, it has just as much right to be here as any other post does. Now, if you start trying to sell your porn collection, that is a different story.
