someone here indicated that they used to have a 460 in a coke bottle bodied ford.

did you have to shave and plate the front towers?
am curious as I remember seeing 3 of them in the late 70's where the towers were plated. I've seen one where they weren't and it was a $hitty fit..

Let's not get to technical, especially this morning. Met this woman last night who could do amazing things with her mouth. Yep, that's right she could hold a fugging conversation. unfuggingbelievable.

Take 1 x XA Falcon, rip out 4.1, replace with 460.
what have you got, 1 x Street Basher.

This vehicle wouldnt comply with ADR27A in any way shape of form. She was a pig, but went like the clappers.
and on a standard diff. 2.78:1, who needs a 9 in the back.

I know they go... I used to have a 427 in an XB.

I want to get some specifics from someone on what probs they had with a 460 during the conversion.

Mine had shaved plates, I've seen a few without. am wondering if some put them straight in (and bugger the engine roll) or whether they dumped the block and winged the sump to alter the c of g.

It's not a hard job.

btw, whats in the 55 cuz?

I had no drama's that I can remember, the only prob that we had was cooling.
solid mounted the mother, so it rocked the car.
shock towers stayed the same, no need to reinforce the front, although she did dip a coupla inches, looked good though.

The 55 has a 351 Clevo, C6 auto and a 9 arse.
The wife is going to buy us another one soon.

found this place in *** *** in NSW where this bloke has a yard full of old cars. he's gotta be pushing 60-70 easy, looks like me really. He saved me a 55 in average condition. with standard 272 y-block, offenhauser inlet and heads, good price to. so the wife agreed that if I give her my XR8 I get another cusso. she buys it...
