hey there i posted in the wrong area theis question earlyer i have a 1990 mustang gt some work done to it goes 12.93 witch is good but i have big block fever. i have a 460 and a 429cj witch would be the easy-ist tomount in the car and witch would make my car go 11 flat the fastest. thanks oh yea it willl also be a bottle baby.

both have the same external dimensions, both are a tight fit. no replacement for displacement :driver:

use the 460 as the cobra jet donk is worth keeping in good nick, and the 460 u can stroke for a 10 sec car

I think that as delivered, the 460 would perform better on the street and track, except for the high rpm area where the 429 might outperform it (over 6000 rpm).

Stroke either motor to 500 cubic inches (4.14 stroker kit w/.030 overbore pistons) and use the 429 CJ heads and you ought to get your 11 seconds no problem.
