Been reading a lot of stories where the 4R100 transmission is problem when heavily loaded like pulling a travel trailer. Are these stories true or false would like to hear some experiences from the owners. I know if you keep em cool they are supposed to pull very heavy loads (not overloads) but within the Ford Specification. I have a F250 SD Crew cab V10 with the 4R100 and would like to know if I can go to the 12,500 lbs Ford rated the truck for or is this wishfull thinking.
