I have a 2000 super duty with a 5.4, 126,000mi . Runs fine , but won’t start after being driven for a 20 min or more. It fires , then stalls. After cooling down for an hour it starts right up. Any suggestions?

Would any of those throw an engine code ? Because I’m not getting one.

Usually does throw a code . Have had the odd Crank sensor that failed when hot causing none start and then fine when cold ..Failing CHT sensor may be sending wrong info . Again USUALLY should show a code but I've learned never to assume anything with todays cars and their finicky electronics / sensors . Another thing to consider would be the fuel filter if not already been changed .
