I'm putting a 351W in a 56 Ford 2dr. hardtop and I'm pulling my hair out trying to find a supplier for headers. I found a Mustang shorty that fits the pass. side but no luck on finding anything for the driver side. I've had several people tell me that the easy way out is to use Crown Victoria manifolds but the idea of cast iron manifolds on a aluminim head motor is just not right. If anyone else has been down this road and has a solution I sure would appreciate to know what you found.

What motor mounts did you use ? The picture here shows a 351W using a HEDMAN 88400 header. Look at the pictures here and READ the notes posted by me underneath. 289-302-351W Swap mounts | The H.A.M.B. You may want to slot the amount in the cross member pads to allow the block to go further back towards the firewall. The next picture shows the passenger side, notice the distance from valve cover to firewall?
