i own a 63 fairlane it has 89 lincoln motor/tranny has the efi out of the lincoln. it runs like a dream everything works. the question is someone installed a inline hi pressure pump in front of the fuel tank installed a metal line to the front of car, getting a lot of vibration from the pump it is installed with the vibration bushings, hoses, the noise is traveling to the front of car thru the fuel line the line really pulses bad. wondering how to take care of the problem. next question is it possible to install a intake fuel pump into a factory 63 tank attached to the original fuel sending unit

Not sure what the pump is mounted on, but try installing a rubber pad between the base and it's mount. Also, a flex hose between the discharge and the metallic brake line. As far as the sending unit, it doesn't get a high enough pressure for the EFI. Your stuck with an electric in-line pump.

welp to give an update, i removed the tank add a return fuel line to the sender unit, heated and bent the fuel sender and cut it off the length of the fuel pump added the fuel pump to the end of the sender unit. ran the wires thru a hole i drilled in the top of the unit everything sealed up, clamped the hoses. everything seams to work perfect, its quiet it will run up and down hills around curves without starving for fuel with only 2 gallon of fuel in tank
