every time i turn the key past acc to start it the dome light and everything turns off and there is no click or anything. the dome lights and beep go back on when i take key out. its not the battery just bought new one. please help me i miss driving my gm

It sounds like you need a new ignition switch assembly because the contacts are busted and not... well... contacting. They're roughly $15 at the parts store with new keys and quite simple to replace.
