hey guy ur in luck if u want to get the axle off the hub where it ties into the bearing/struts/controlarm the only way to do it without taking the strut off is to take apart the balljoint thats @ the trany, to do so cut the clamp on the boot, then theres a round kepper pin in there preventing the ball joint from coming out, remove it with a flat very flat very thin standard scruedriver "wont be easy the 1st time but dont give up. then the whole other end oif it should come out cheery, repeat the proces except with a new clamp for the boot, in reverse to get it back on
