I have a 94 escort with 1.9 and am not getting fire from the second plug wire. I have replaced the wire and plug and still i get nothing. ANy one have any ideas as to what may be causing this.

check distributor cap and rotor. A tune-up may be due.

I hate to tell you but escorts do not have distributors they have coil packs.:teach:

Sounds like the coil pack is bad.
