Is there anywhere to connect an amp wire from the battery in through the firewall? I can not seem to find an entry hole anywhere.

YES THERE IS! I had a hard time finding one also. But there it one under the carpet on the drivers side there is a circle of black plastic pull it up and under neath is a rubber plug. But once you push the wire thru make sure you have someone with long arms, because the wire will come thru pretty close to the grond. I'm 6'3" and i stuck my arm almost all the way down to my shoulder. hope that helps.
