I have a spark knock that will not go away. It only knocks when under a load. Tune-up is good, and I only use high grade gas. I'm looking for suggestion on eliminating this problem.

The only way that I know of is to bug Ford until they fix the problem. The new Rangers are a distributorless ignition system, making it impossible for you to simply retard the timing to get rid of the knock problems under load. The only way to retard the timing is to have Ford reprogram the computer with a different timing curve.
