I went to remove my crank pully and since it was left handed thread i went reversed thread turning and the nut and shaft going into the nut broke off. wow!!! now ive got to replace that shaft that comes out of the damper/ harmonic balancer and was connected to my nut. The book says these are conventional threads and so my question is why wont it break loose. both impact and breaker bar have been attempted and i have had no result? thanks
