Last night and since owning this car the AC system has operated flawlessly. Ice cold air with no problems to speak of.

Got back in it this AM and the air is blowing hot.
All fuses are good, but the clutch does not cycle on.

Hooked up the recharge kit to the low side by the firewall and the gauge immediately jumped to the RED mark and would not accept any R134

Any ideas from the freat minds here??

Look on the filter/dryer for the pressure switch. Try jumping the connector to see if it comes on then. If so, then replace the switch.

You are the man Mullet!!

Compressor clicked right in when I jumped it and off when I took the paper clip out.

Ford has one in stock for $20. Small price to pay in this 95 degree heat.
Just screws right into the drier.

Too late to get over there today, but I will be picking one up Monday for sure.

I will post a follow up whether or not this fixes the problem.

Worked like a charm. On a whim, I called Advance Auto and they had one in stock.....so much for my thinking this would be a dealer only item.

Screwed it on, applied a little dielectric grease and plugged it in.

Ice cold air once again.
