I have a Ford Excursion 2002 and have had several of these sensors go bad in a short time causing my AC to not cool down. I installed a new one today and worked great with ice cold air. But went to start a few hours later and outside air was 92 with the sensor registering 75. This is the first time it malfunctioned so soon. Any help would be appreciated. R134-A is fully charged and compressor runs good until sensor fails. Then just cool AC but not cold air. Thanks for any help concerning why the sensor keeps blowing. These things cost about $30 and I can't keep wasting money.

Look at the wiring and connectors. Also clean any connectors and apply some dielectric grease.
