Hello Everyone... yes i am new ... and yes i am another one of those pesky cougar owners ...

We also have a 2000 Moutaineer... i used to drive a 1995 Ford Mustang and My husband owned '91 and '97 Ford Probe .... So i guess you could say we are a Ford Family ...

97 Probe

The 97 Probe was just a regular old probe... we looked all over our area of WI and were unable to find a GTS because that is what we really wanted and at the time we were unable to order one

we actually ended up having to get rid of the car within a year due to all the problems that we had... but we loved the 1st one we owned!

The New Edge cougar and the Probe are actually very similar if not identical under the hood... there is a Shop in Green Bay, WI that services and sells Probes and is also looking into working on the Cougar.. (Scooter's and he has a website... you can order parts etc )
the Cougar will no longer be made as of mid 2002... i have heard rumors that 2004-2005 the Probe may be making a comeback and have seen pics that it is a good looking cross between the last design of the Probe and the New Edge cougar

Yep, some of us Probers have already been to his site. Very few web sites out there that sell stuff for our cars.
Do you have pics of this future car ? I would like to see them if you do.
