Hey, don't sell those 6's short. This wildest mustang I ever saw was at a car show I had my mustang in. This guy had a 200 Indy 6 banger. It was stock and the original motor. When he started it up, it didn't sound like your grandma's 6 clylinder. He claimed it would stay with a 289 2 bbl. Don't know that to be true but I can tell ya my cousin use to drag Chevy 6's. Ever seen a 10 second 6 banger? He had a 49 Chevy that was stripped that run in the 10's all the time.

i love my ol 6

i love my ol 6. i've see a few 6's at the drag stip and those fly past the 8's. also see one 6er at a dirt track. that little ol thing was flying around those corners and it was great. i hopoe to have mine up in better condition. not too high performance if i can help it.

hey, it's good to see someone with a 6 banger up in here!

my evil ex had one and i'll tell you, it didn't feel the same as my 289, but it was great on the gas mileage and it picked up pretty good as well.

plus the best part! it's still a classic mustang! :D
