Pity it was stolen just after I moved to Sydney.....

I bought it off a guy in Coonabarabran. It had only approx 50k-km and had been out of rego in a barn for a few years. Damn rough and needed TLC, but it turned out alright in the long run.

I've never seen any car that was stolen again - other than my Cortina GT (another car I forgot about - dang - that's 21 :nuts: ). NRMA gave me lots of pain about the claim, falling just short of telling me directly they thought I did a job on it. I lost so much money on it I almost wanted to cry (it had all new mechanicals except diff) - kinda like DOC and his XR8.

Try fitting 9.25 inch rims on the front of an AU! 245 rubber front, 265 rears. Those old fords had heaps of room to fill under the guards
